Country Arts SA - Craft Anonymous at The Ascot Community Exhibition Art Gallery

Come and see the Country Arts SA - Craft Anonymous exhibition at the Ascot Community Exhibition Gallery. It will be open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday morning 10 am to 12 midday from 14th June to 24th July. Craft Anonymous brought together regional and metropolitan textile, glass, metal and ceramic artists to exhibit in the iconic Adelaide Town Hall in 2015. In 2017 this exhibition continues it's tour of regional South Australia. Traditional handicraft techniques such as weaving, embroidery, knitting, felting, enameling and hand-dying are showcased within a contemporary art context where old meets new. The Ascot Community Exhibition Art Gallery has a different exhibition each month. The Kernewek Lowender Art Prize Collection is also on permanent display (except for May in odd numbered years when the Cornish Festival is being held).
