    The Dinner Dance at the Yorke Peninsula Veterans and Community Centre in Kadina is held on the first Friday of the month starting from 6pm (not January). Members and non members are very welcome.     The Copper Coast Miniature Train Rides run on the first and third Sunday of the month between 10am and 3pm.     The Rotary Markets are held in Victoria Square in Kadina from 8.30am to 12.30pm monthly, usually on the last Saturday of the month. Goods on offer may include arts and craft, plants, bric a brac, home baked cakes and biscuits, sausage sizzle, refreshments, greeting cards, jewellery, oils, body lotions, fresh produce, jams and pickles, pottery and much more.   • Image Gatherers at The Ascot Community Exhibition Art Gallery

    Image Gatherers at The Ascot Community Exhibition Art Gallery will run from 3 to 27 July and feature Germein Art Focus which consists of eight established artists who, having met through their association with the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery, decided in 2007 to exhibit as a co-operative group. Their paintings and drawings draw upon their surroundings in the Upper North and Flinders Ranges, and also reflect heritage and cultural influences from Poland, Holland, Japan, Africa and the Solomon islands.   • Enchanted High Tea, Kadina

    21st July 2017

    An Enchanted High Tea will be hosted by Make-a-Wish Australia Yorke Peninsula branch on Friday July 21 2017. From 10am to noon for children 12 years and under who must be accompanied by an adult at the Kadina Town Hall in Taylor Street. The event will feature children's activities, hip hop dance and song, as well as a special high tea for the children and their caregivers. Everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favourite princess or super hero. Money raised will help Make- a- Wish grant wished to children with life threatening medical conditions. More details…

  • Victoria Park Moonta monthly walks

    The Friends of Victoria Park in Moonta have monthly walks on the third Sunday of the month commencing at 10am that all are invited to attend. The walk commences from the Henry Street entrance on Milne Terrace. Victoria Park is being preserved as a bush park after being initially established in the 1830's with community effort as a landcare plantation to protect the town from sand drift and to commemorate the reign of Queen Victoria. Many of the original walking tracks are being maintained by current walkers. More details…
